Get to know S A M, and you will perform at a higher level that will then bring you both personal and business success!
S – Strategy
The strategy part of the equation is your plan of action, the plan for your business. It’s the success you want to achieve.
- What do you want to accomplish in your business?
- How are you going to accomplish this?
- Why do you want to accomplish this?
These three questions will not only get you thinking about the future of your business, but are designed to empower you to create a business plan and achieve your goals.
A – Activities
The next component is activities. Strategy is great, but it does no good if you don’t implement and take action. Performing the following two activities each day can greatly improve your performance and drive success:
- An activity to directly improve you and your health.
- An activity to directly improve your business.
These activities don’t have to be hard or time-consuming. You just need to do them… action is the key. Performing an activity to improve you and your health helps you to become better and perform at a higher level. Performing an activity to directly improve your business gets you thinking about your success, and when implemented consistently over time, helps take your business to the next level.
M – Mindset
The last piece of the puzzle is your mindset. The outlook you have in life and in business, whether it be positive or negative, affects how you see yourself and the world around you. This affects how you perform on a daily basis and directly impacts your business. If you can do the following each day, you will sharpen your mind and improve your business:
- Train your mind in the morning.
- Do something that will positively affect your mood and/or state for the day.
You can train yourself and/or your employees in sales, leadership, productivity and other facets of business, but one of the most important things to train is your mind. Training your mind is critical to being successful. In fact, 80% of success is psychological.
If you can consistently implement these three little letters: S A M, you will be well on your way to personal and business success!
